This interactive session will enable participants to meet with nationally known reading researchers to discuss the benefits of using the STAR Tool Kit and training to improve reading instruction in their states. Drs. Mary Beth Curtis and John Strucker will accompany participants on a guided tour of the multimedia STAR Tool Kit. Participants will learn how STAR presents an opportunity for strategic partnership that can enhance states' capacity to significantly improve reading instruction for adults.

Participants will also learn how STAR training is helping adult education providers nationwide to bridge research and classroom practice.
