The National STAR Training Network (the Network) is made up of experts in reading instruction, state and federal policymakers, and practitioners working in partnership with the U.S. Department of Education to use EBRI and the STAR model to improve adult reading.
The Network helps state leaders, state trainers, program administrators, and classroom teachers deliver EBRI through a range of activities and services delivered by experts – our National Trainers – and supported by the Network project staff.
Provides management and coordination for the STAR initiative
Researchers and practitioners who provide content direction on STAR
Deliver national training across states and provide individual coaching to trainer candidates to complete their certification
Provide training to others within their own state
Teachers and administrators using STAR in the classroom
